Choosing Florida Holiday Dates Wisely

Families with children who are travelling on Holiday to Florida in 2012 need to choose their holiday dates very carefully!

Let’s look at them in detail:

February Half term Florida holidays - This is a great time to go, as weather is not too hot and queues are not too long. There is however an issue with these dates as the schools only give 1 week, so you need to take your child out of school for 1 week extra (this can be 2/3 days either side or 1 week earlier or 1 week later) Another favourite for this time is a 10day stay in one of the Universal Studio Hotel packages.

Easter Holidays – March or April, By far the most popular time of the year, you will need to book early if you are a school teacher I would recommend looking 2 days either side as you will still grab yourself a bargain ( and you never know your school may have some training days booked so you won’t need to take them out of school).

May half term Florida holidays -  Special offers is the name of the game in this month, all airlines will introduce a discount BUT it a book early offer so look at for these..

Summer holidays 2012 – 20^th July to 18^th August is peak price and peak season. All airlines know this so this is their main profit time. You can bit a bit sneaky by taking out a Florida holidays offer on the 20^th august for 2 weeks or 13^th July for 2 weeks – just missing the huge price increase,.

October half term Florida holiday – brilliant time to go, plus you can fit in Halloween  (if that is your thing). You really will need to book early if its a direct flight you are after. If you do bot mind a one stop and can take your child out of school 1 or 2 days either side you will grab yourself a fantastic offer..

And finally the big one  - Christmas Florida Holidays – My only advice is to come back on the 1^st of January or the 4^th of January to stand a chance to get a good priced holiday. The 2^nd and 3^rd a very popular so get busy really quickly OR the cheapest option is to go 1 or 2 days before the term ends and come back 27/28^th December. Mickey Mouse always has something good going on over Christmas.
